For best result , rototill or spade your lawn to a
depth of 10-15cm. Remove all stones and weeds.
If the top soil is clayey and limeous then remove it
to the depth of 10-15cm. Replace the removed soil with
new fertile soil .
For good drainage of the water , establish the slopes
in the direction of waterflow and away from the
foundation of the building.
Level the soil and rollcompact it to have a flat
surface before the installation.
For better settlement , water the soil to a depth of
15 cm before the installation
Installation
Start the installation as soon as the Sod arrives on
your site.
Start watering the newly installed sod latest within
30 minutes after installation. Turfgrass if alive and
needs to touch the soil and water.
Keep the stacked rolls in shady places or underneath a
breathable cover .
Start installing the sod at the longest edge of the
lawn. Squeeze and press the ends of the rolls during
the installation.
Take care not to leave space between rolls and avoid
overlapping of the rolls.
Install the rolls in brickwall pattern.
Place the sod at the corners and short edges with help
of a sharp knife.
Take care not leave small pieces at the corners and
short edges because these pieces are not effective in
water retaining and therefore will dry up to cause
yellow look in the lawn.
Install the rolls longitudinally in the slope
direction.
Avoid stepping on the newly installed sod because
doing so will cause airpockets between soil and sod.
Apply roller to the whole lawn after the installation.
This process will ensure better grass/soil touch .
